We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Telesales Lead to join building a winning telesales team!

Your Mission as a Telesales Lead will be to lead and manage all our telesales efforts as it relates to selling Plendify’s offerings to businesses (i.e. Corporate, Medium and Small) across Ghana and globally. In the process, we expect you to build a team of other “A” players who will be groomed to replicate the sales successes of the company. As our Telesales Lead your main responsibility will be to drive our business success by implementing a strong and sustainable sales strategy. You and your team's main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users/customers.

Responsibility and Duties

  • Build and Manage a winning team of telesales advisors.

  • Leverage tools and processes to help your team achieve and exceed targets.

  • Learn all the details about our products and services.

  • Understand all the prospects needs, problems or wants

  • Coach and recruit qualified personnel to grow the company’s team.

  • Engage and Negotiate with large corporate buyers.

  • Lead and manage on the ground prospecting with your team.

  • Build and coach your team in leveraging sales tools such as pipedrive, cloudtalk, 3cx.

  • Investigate leads and find out about them as much as possible before contacting

  • Build and manage team and customer KPIs to drive business objectives.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on team performance.

  • Attend sales educational events and seminars

  • Stay up to date with the latest sales strategies, coaching methods and best practices

  • Represent Plendify at industry conferences and events.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Sales Executive or Telesales Executive

  • Experience in selling to business owners with a successful track record.

  • Ability to prepare a proposal upon request.

  • Ability to negotiate under pressure.

  • Experience leading a team of more than 5 tele sales personnel.

  • Experience recruiting and evaluating tele sales personnel.

  • Experience with setting up a call center environment.

  • Good knowledge of telemarketing and digital marketing

  • Great command of MS Office, CRM and Online tools

  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skill

  • Team player

  • Great time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • A degree in Business Administration or relevant field

  • Must be able to drive

  • Previous experience exceeding your sales quota on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
