Plendify is building Africa’s biggest B2B Marketplace Platform for verified suppliers. Our mission is to facilitate trading across Africa and globally by providing an online marketplace, where businesses or individuals can order items in either wholesale/bulk or retail quantities.
Your Mission as an Ecommerce Advisor will be to onboard small and medium sized African businesses to use our ecommerce website to activate international sales. You will build a pipeline of talented business owners and assist them with a seamless onboarding. At the core of the role, you will be enabling business owners to have an incredible experience when using Plendify’s ecommerce solution to grow..

Responsibility and Duties
Become an expert and educate prospective suppliers about the benefits of owning an ecommerce store.
Ensure suppliers complete their ecommerce store successfully using our supplier onboarding journey strategy.
Help suppliers activate their initial orders using all of Plendify Marketing Assets to assist them.
Maintain regular communication with key ecommerce store accounts.
Manage ongoing customer relationships utilizing our CRM tools.
Build a strong referral network from existing clients and new clients using company incentives to create a healthy pipeline.
Participate actively in marketing initiatives and digital marketing activities to help explain the benefits of the e-commerce store solution.
Be available to engage suppliers at offline business events, seminars and webinars within your target market.
Organize your sales funnel in order to meet individual and team sales targets.
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
Perform other duties when needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven sales experience or experience as a Sales Representative.
Track record of over-achieving sales quota.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Capable of multitasking, effective time-management skills, and learning to prioritize tasks.
Able to work in a fast-paced and with quick turnaround time.
Open and enthusiastic to learning and exploring new technologies (and respectful of all technologies).
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and produce high-quality results.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
